True, there are other brands of breast pumps on the market. We chose these brands for how frequently they are searched for on the internet and especially for how well they are reviewed by actual users. There is no disputing the longevity of Medela and Ameda in the breast pumps market at 50 and 60 years respectively. Avent and Playtex as the next runners-up, have brought some fresh design to the table and garnered excellent reviews. If you are only just beginning your research on breast pumps, this is a good place to start.
